Maybe it's a cultural thing, or the ASX is run more cleanly than the NYSE. In America, it is ABSOLUTELY prudent to independently-verify what you're being told, by potential investments.
I have a real problem with forums where only positive sentiments are allowed, and greatly prefer a good mix of positive and negative, particularly when either is backed up by solid data. (Like the links to the court judgements, which provided.)
We've had some humorous examples, lately. "Humorous" if you weren't invested...
