Agreed, but still interested to know. We don't know how frequent this happens or why. The fact that multiple calls needed to be made sounds like a dynamic problem, so perhaps more information altered appropriate response. If they're friendly and helpful though, and if this was a once off or unavoidable due to the information they received, that'd be good to know. If not one off and they were rude or unhelpful, also good to know. Can forward the concern onto management.
