Just received a forwarded email from a friend in the market regarding next week's OMH SGM.

Board candidate Malcolm McComas is urging shareholders to "exercise their right to vote for Board renewal". Copy of the message below, sounds like this guy is willing to get in there and sort things out.

A message from Malcolm McComas - OMH board candidate

I strongly encourage OMH shareholders to stand up and exercise their right to vote for Board renewal.

Proxy forms need to be submitted by 10:30am Perth time on Tuesday 30 August, and should be faxed to 1800 783 447.

Some details of my relevant experience for the task are set out below:
-Investment banking industry veteran with 25 years experience in finding debt and equity funding solutions for large and mid cap growth orientated companies.
-Leadership roles with County NatWest, Citigroup and Grant Samuel.
-Major transactions include privatisation of the Commonwealth Bank for the Australian Government.
-Experienced company director with board and chairman experience.
-Deep experience with debt and equity finance, capital expenditure planning and new project development.
-Led more than 50 equity issues for companies and governments.
-Currently Chairman of Australia's Finsia (Financial Services Institute of Australasia).
-Experience with audit and risk committee roles.

Specifically, I can provide:
-insight to OMH management on arranging project/debt finance;
-assist OMH to develop a cohesive capital management plan;
-assist OMH to develop a cohesive equity capital markets plan;
-introduce OHM to global resources investors;
-participate in audit and risk committee processes;
-assist OMH to develop effective corporate governance procedures and guidelines; and
-provide a link between offshore NED's and OMH's Australian investors.

Independence:
I am independent of ConsMin and OMH.
I was approached by a lawyer to see if I was interested in an independent director role.
I believe my skills can add value to OMH's decision making and governance.

These skills exceed the bar to qualify for election to the board of OMH.
