I hold LNC shares in my name and also in my Super Fund name. As per LNC's advice to shareholders, I opened up two international trading accounts with Commsec and sent nomination forms before the deadline to have the shares transferred to Commsec. I was later informed by Commsec that LNC made a mistake in their advice, and that I had to first open local trading accounts with Commsec to get my shares transferred from my current broker (Westpac) and then fill out two transfer forms, one to transfer the shares from my current broker to Commsec local accounts and another to transfer shares from the local trading accounts to the international accounts. After experiencing a nightmare with the requirements, I finally got the applications sent to be told that I had missed the cut off.
Can anyone please advise me what I should do to have the shares ready for trading?
