I have never seen anything quite like the SGX MM's. Today, I watched over 400000 shares sell on the buy side of the ledger and the price doesn't budge from $1.26 (which is extremely unusual) for approx. 3-4 hours. In 10 minutes time, 100000 shares trade on the sell side of the ledger and the share price drops 2 percent or $.04 cents. During this blood bath drop in share price, a 5000 share buy order comes across and the share price drops further. These SGX MM's are a different animal. I am not a fan of the SGX MM's as I have heard numerous stories from multiple colleagues of similar trading irregularities.
