Bonehead,this is my last post concerning this topic. If the opening price is based upon the matching of orders, were does this pre-open matching occur? I would like to participate. See attached regarding the SGX and Market makers. As far as what countries exchanges the SGX modeled their exchange after, I read an article somewhere that I can not locate right now that stated they wished to have a U.S. type exchange system in Singapore. But my concern was (at the beginning of this post) the actions of Market Makers. Just today, a buy order drops the price of the stock. It just ain't right!!!End of story!!! (from me at least)
