It was common knowledge prior to the invasion by the coalition of the killing Saddam was supporting Hamas and other Palestinian groups by doing things like providing training and payments to the families of suicide bombers.

BUT

His support of these groups was no different and in many areas way less than the US's support of numurous 2 bit radicals involved in regional specific conflicts in South America.

It was implied and expressed constantly prior to the invasion by the coalition of the killing that Saddams links to terrorism was supposed to by to AQ and the direct threat this posed to the US and to the world at large - CLAIMS THAT HAVE NOT AND CAN NOT BE PROVEN.

It was never used as justification for the invasion, even though it was common knowledge Saddams support of Palestinian groups, because these terror groups are involved in a regional specific conflict only and pose no threat to the US or the world at large. There are no links to Palestinian terror groups and AQ despite Israel attempting to invent links. Palestinian groups have actually attempted to distance themselves from AQ for obvious reasons

Israel is also NOT THE INNOCENT victim with conflict and tension insighted BY BOTH SIDES going back over 30years

To now claim the invasion by the coalition of the killing was justified because of Saddams support of Palestinian groups is sheer stupidity and signs of a desperate attempt to justify the unjustifiable.

Unless of course you are now admitting the real reason for the US wanting to invade Iraq was in support of Israel and the whole invasion was one big zionist plot.
