What an idiotic statement. So thirty years of torture and murder by SH, including the gassing of the Kurds, the million or more killed in the Iraqi/Iranian war did not have a traumatic effect on the Iraqi population?

It will take time to remedy years of murder and mayhem. There is no 'quick fix'. First the Iraqis must rid themselves of :

(a) those thugs who prospered during SH's 'Reign of Terror';

(b) those barbaric extremist Mullahas who are still living in the medieval past;

(c) those Muslim fanatics who hate and despise democracy and freedom of choice.

(d) those Muslim thugs and thier 'allies' who will commit any atrocity to stop Iraq from entering into the 21st century.
