I've been browsing the announcements since 2019 (when Dan wasn't even on board). This region seems to be geologically challenging - has never been properly drilled - soil sampling has returned some very high-grade results (e.g. up to 28.8% copper and also lot of gold) - the problem seems to be that nobody knows where the "source" for these high-grade samplings is.

It was noticeable that it seems as if HMX and JOGMEC were approached by various interested parties to enter the JV after these "successes" around Mt Philip - as we know, Sumitomo then got involved. Someone must have seen the potential in this area.

It seems to me that quite a lot of time has been invested in understanding "where" to drill - years?

There seems to be some disconnect here between a strong conviction that this is an area that could host an IOCG and the results so far.

So now we have drilled about 1100 metres in March (4 drill holes) into the yellow rectangle.

Does anyone have an opinion on this? Does anyone have more "geological" insight? Can we expect anything or is this just wishful thinking?
