wishful thinking koro but i doubt forrest is really interested. FMG is still in its infancy and i would say if they ever reach the stage where thye want to gobble up the small guys they'll do so in their own backyard first.
albert, no doubt management have studied the FMG story unflod. although these are two vastly different countries the vision of both boards is somewhat wimilar. so to is the cried from the knockers ;)
no doubt we will see a similar storyline unfold. imo port and rail will be tendered in the next 12 months and with that some wort of oftake agreement to sure up funds or perhaps a JV partner in the form of a Chinese mill. imo once the balls rolling we wont look back. one benefit SDL has is the wait of everyone searching for the next FMG, if SDL plays its cards right and does prove its reserves then it can only play in our favour imo, but we are a few years off anything close to being like FMG.
one thing i just thought of, interested on people thoughts.
regarding the so called "knockers", i note FMG and namely Forrest was offside with the big boys, ie instos and they were the main knockers of the SDL story.
i know we are in the very infancy of an iron ore producers but do you think SDL has the critisism of these large players? or more so the little guys. i tend to think the later, it seems to be the small players, everyday investors that are more wary of Africa than the big boys, chinese instos and the like???
i could be wrong here, what does anyone think?
