The shale sector has had some pretty good gains, especially the Canning Basin plays, and congrats to early investors. Seems to be a fair bit of froth boiling up now with stocks running on nearology. A warning sign a correction could occur ... not sure what would trigger it but all bubbles boil off eventually if they have run too far ahead of themselves.
The old adage holds strong and true. 'You can never go broke taking a profit'. And don't worry about tax. Just lock in gains and deal with it later ... good luck all.
