Always thought the term bubble was used in a post-mortem kind of context.
Doubt that tulip bulb traders back during that confirmed bubble ever discussed a bubble during the craziness?
Taking a philosophical view of things with a beer chaser, one could say that stock movements are a series of overlapping little bubbles.
