Yes guys, it is all about investor confidence in an emerging sector/industry, Santos is pushing hard in the community to soothe the doomsday antics from the greens and radicals that just don't get it.

They don't want coal, they dont want nuclear, they don't want Csg and they don't want shale mainly because of the misplaced fears around fracking.
I am in NZ at the moment, 1 degree to 10 degrees, it costs about 20.00 a day to run a heat pump here, heating and power bills are up around 700.00 plus a month here in winter, can you imagine what the costs would be if these idiots had their way.

Santos efforts are going to go a long way to impacting on ill informed community perceptions mainly bought about by the misrepresentations in the movie "Gaslands" and with Allan Jones on the bandwagon the industry does need to, and is keeping the public and authorities positively informed.

Shale extracted energy is going to make "Peak Oil" a thing of the past, it is going to transform the world we live in and be an accepted energy process in the future, there have been many millionaires created from wise investments early on in the shale industry in the US, it is going to be no different here and the Perth Basin shows all the signs of being a major contributor to Australia's shale industry and companies like NWE, AWE etc are going to be at the forefront of the basins ongoing development.

IMHO the Articles posted by many on here are relevant and in keeping with general discussion around the sector we are invested in, the few "know it alls" that have complained on these threads about "cross promoting" and "irrelevance" and have reported posts as such, can quite easily read a Mickey Mouse comic or something else to pass their time instead of bothering to complain to the many readers of relevant and positive material out there that, in the main, we all appreciate.
