    The Australian today page 19 has provided an updated report on the Shale Gas resources of the world shown in trillions of cubic feet.

    Australia is shown as having 396 trillion c/ft compared with the USA of 3,143 cubic feet. No date is given for the stat comparison, but the relative size must influence the level of desire for USA takeovers or mergers of Australia's shale resources.
