Just take a look at this graphic and think about what it means for the rest of the world.

Now of course the US might not be able to extract all of that, but at around 20%, it will still be double Saudi Arabia and more than all of the others combined.

The US will use power their stagnant and ailing economy with low cost fuel for the next few decades at least.

Recession solved. Obama is heavily favouring the Shale industry development and no doubt in the off chance that the republican nominee gets up, he will too.

The good news is that it will generate the kind of economic activity lacking in the last boom. Making stuff. Real jobs. Exports. Manufacturing. Engineering. Innovation. Lots of blue collar jobs.

Companies in the US are already investing in anticipation of this supply of energy. Jobs are being moved back to the US.

Everybody was wondering what the new boom would be. Well we are on the cusp of it. It's going to be shale. It is only a matter of time before we see some major cash hit our shores taking out the best shale prospects. Just like they did with CSG.

The majors are scouring the world looking for world class shale assets. It's only a matter of time.

I can't wait to know who farms in to Merlinleigh.
It would be great if it was yet another major arriving on the scene.

    3 dollars you reckon anatol?
Who knows? QGC went for 5.6billion.
Anything could happen if we get time and have some luck.
