I think you will find the water requirements for GDY doing a vertical one or two stage frac job over a short range, compared to a 20 to 30 stage fracs on a horizontal well will be an order magnitude difference in water requirements. But I would leave the water transport requirements up to the prospective buyer, and Linc can concern itself with transport requirements of getting the money to the bank.

Remember the company that has made the most money out of the US Shale Oil business so far, has been Petrohawk, selling to BHP. Not sure if they ever produced any oil, but they made a bunch of money.
