I wouldn't read anything into the volumetrics listed for Airth Shale or the absence of volumetrics for CSG .
John Mc Goldrick said he thought that the economics of NSW CSG was better than Cooper shale/deep gas . Certainly the Capex is much lower and it's a much cheaper way of fulfilling minimum license requirements .
UK Govt is changing land access laws so that companies don't have to go through such a long process for laterals deeper than 300m - which appears to be a level set to allow CSG to continue .
However , perhaps the shale prize is so big that Igas-Dart don't want to jeopardise it by risking anything going wrong with the relatively much smaller CSG ?
