Thank you haz, yes it is refreshing to be able to converse with someone how might in someway have a differing view from your own and not end up in a mud slinging match, won't our world be a better place if out Leaders would do the same rather than firing Rockets at each other.
Sadly I am not in a position to be able to advise you as to your questions as I believe these can only be answered from a personal point of view.
How much slack should one give? Well that would depend on how much trust you place in an person, you know the old saying "Keep you friends close but keep to enemies closer " so I guess if you trust, you would give as much as you could, but we all have our personal limits.
How much more time? I have openly stated on more then a few occasions, my investment in TNG/TVN was not for myself but for my Grandchildren and I have a lot of confidence that when the time comes around for them to receive their allotment these shares will be worth a lot more than today.
At what stage is it reasonable to expect some share price appreciation? My best guess at that would be just before we start seeing revenue coming in, but don't forget Timor, I'm expecting this to be the wild card in our deck of playing cards, just keep that in mind.
