The media must already have an idea because whenever Latham forthrightly puts that view no one challenges it.
I guess in politics timing is everything and they will wait till the timing is best. Labor would NOT want Abbott to be replaced prematurely because having an extremely unpopular Opposition Leader is to their advantage. I would envisage that as it gets closer to the election when its too late to replace him, whatever they have got will likely come out within two to six months of the election. However if they continue throwing mud at the PM now they may counter that now. Just my opinions and I dont know what Latham knows lol.
I want Turnbull to take over now as he is the safest bet.
