    Civil law is supposed to represent the expectations of the majority lay persons; in Oz that's coined "The man on the Bondi tram"; in Britain he's on the "Clapham omnibus".

    Non withstanding Justice Lee's gut feel law of probabilities, I get the distinct feeling the majority of people on the Bondi tram don't share his opinion, many preferring the "it takes two to tango" conclusion.
