you arent the only one haha, it depends on the record date tbh.
keep in mind also Borgy/Doc have a lot of options as well, so you arent alone and they wouldnt want to shoot themselves in the foot.
the ideal situation would be the demerger details get announced (i.e. spin out/jv deal valued at $XXXm mkt cap), then the record date would be a 1 to 2 months after, so gives time for everyone to exercise and by then the SP would have trended upwards to reflect the additional $XXXm mkt cap .
