Not only is the reasons for increase in Cost of goods Sold ridiculous and illogical, contradicting basic accounting principles, what is more worrying is that the "Share based plan" is a permanent blood sucking monster... I have seen a lot of companies where management have low shareholdings, and are not much interested in dividends, and get the profits out of the company though large "legitimate spendings"...keeping all profits within a small select family/friends group. This way, unfortunately majority investors get precious little share of the pie.
