i agree this is a better option than paying a divvie as it fits better with the strategy of building the Co, which i believe the management are good at, regardless of what the market makes of it.
With $25m to be spent on exploration and exploitation this year coupled with recent significant drilling success at waterhole creek and wolf cowling i wouldnt be surprised if a sustainable divvie may eventuate in next 12-18 months.
The trick with a maiden divvie is that it MUST be sustainable. If you were to introduce a divvie one year and then repeal it later on the Co would be savaged imo
Wouldnt be likely to happen until after hedging is wound out
