my hope for 350 was dashed mercilessly!

but many positive things seem to have been happening with telstra lately, such as:

1/ the nbn deal was sealed and extra income has started to flow with $300 million and this coming capital management;

2/ tony chen was appointed a director (an expansion into asia?);

3/ t-box won an international award; combined this with

4/ winning austar - "Telstra wins from Foxtel's Austar takeover deal"

5/ 4G operational - and starting wholesale 3G;

6/ NAS (with its cloud computing) is growing fast; and

7/ a disciplined and prudent investment strategy - no reckless spending on hyped up new technology.

with all these positive things, and since it doesn't cost me anything to hope, my hope is for 400 by the end of 2012.
