    personally mine are going in at the 14%

    The math for me is to good as i need al the capital loses I can muster..

    As i trade a lot i tend to have lots of capital gains to offset :)

    depends if you move into a higher tax bracj=kjet bye selling your shares...as the shares are dividends then you could feasibly move in to tax bracket above company tax rate (Eg above 30c)..lets say selling your share puts your income into the 37c bracket..then every dollar is taxed at 37c as the tax credit is only 30c (franked) you have an extra 7c per dollar to pay in tax on all dollars earned after that.

    hope thats not to confusing

    this is why it is better for low or no tax paying shareholders
