The Commonwealth is actively promoting and encouraging local manufacturing stating we Australians need to be more self sufficient and not too entirely depended on China for our manufactured goods.
Tell that to the big fund managers. These people don't give a shit about local manufacturing and local job creations. They rather have their money in American tech.
The way that they are selling local manufacturing companies do not exactly give people confidence in investing or local companies confidence in hiring more workers.
