does anyone know the rules of the share buy back? do they have to declare to market and if so are there threshold volumes for declaration?
my thinking :
- it has the potential to push up the SP enormously as the daily trading volumes are fairly low. even slow bit by bit purchases across 12 months would kick this up.
- to capitalise and give current shareholders a boost (this is tightly held ) they would purchase just before a big announcement giving it a double lift potentially .
- doing it prior to big announcement would stimulate volumes large enough to allow the few holding large parcels to get out at a significant premium . (for Naos or Lanyon to unload their sizeable parcels would take forever if they were not prepared to take a capital loss and there was not a big announcement to stimulate volumes).
