Its really is a good sign you know...With the hysteria floating around the boards as it is right now, it's more than reassuring that the company has faith in itself enough to buyback shares...It would be hard for another company to make hostile takeover with so few owning so much of it so it shouldn't be to fend off that..
I can't calculate the type of change in earnings an ISP would have through a recession oe the like, but my thoughts are nowadays internet is a part of life rather than something the masses switch off simply because of stockmarket meltdowns and tougher times....Mobile phones are still ringing I hear....
Profit is profit, and divi's paid should reflect at least in part the companies value...
Perhaps I'm totally wrong, but true value will show through somewhere
