i dont see consolidation doing a whole lot either positively or negatively.. let it coinside with a merger if one happens at any time in the future.. who knows.. maybe that is a pathway still open for Lady Ida to be fully acquired in the future. Its certainly not a matter of urgency anyway.
I agree with Snakedance.. a buyback.. personally i would go for a smaller aspiration, sub 10m.. maybe 5m per annum.. large enough to create upward SP momentum, small enough not to impede growth investment.. we have a lot of work to do on our various acquisitions of the last year + we will have work to do in TE in coming years.. for that reason i would be inclined to keep a buyback program at a cap of probably +-5m per annum.. even if it is at the expense of foregoing or reducing a divvy.
