The products are called the Minax & Praxis and involve Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES).
The minax is designed to offer control over bowel & bladder functions.
While the Praxis aims to achieve muscle movement in the legs of people suffering paraplegia.
The have been three patients implanted with these products in Shriners hospital, Philadelphia USA
