I was surprised that the scale-back for the buy back was much lower than would have expected based on other buy backs. Penny has just dropped that the shares were bought back pretty much day before the ex-dividend date. So will miss out on dividend on shares that were bought back. I know it’s my fault that I didn’t check but pretty poor form that that was not highlighted well (if at all). Almost looks like a deliberate ploy. Ah well live and learn. Will treat MMS management more cautiously from now on.
