I can't believe a post from Portfolio Plus (PP) started this. I also just came across another post from PP before this with incorrect information. As it stands the buyback represents less than 1% of shares on issue...do the maths on the benefits, yes the result is positive but it is marginal. Shares in buybacks can be acquired for performance rights, this is more efficient than issuing additional shares at a later date.
