I saw this in weekend Australian article about a week ago, sorry been in holiday mode all this week.
Maybe share price is in ex dividend mode?

Development play Gold Road, which recently struck a deal that will see it receive $350m in cash and future funding commitments from South African giant Gold Fields in exchange for 50 per cent of its Gruyere gold discovery in WA, is also believed to be weighing a special dividend or share buyback to return some of its windfall to shareholders.
