I would expect the Board, in their collective wisdom, to make a decision on the dividend based on what they believe in the best long term interests of the company. Not based on the short term view of appeasing some disgruntled holders/agitators.
After they do declare their hand, and if a shareholder is not happy then simply register your protest at the AGM.
