    towie - some funds in small caps will only buy ones that pay a divvie or will look favourably upon. Look at EMI and CCV as a couple of examples where interest was sparked soon after a first dividend was announced - even SEN sparked some interest (recent problems outweight though!!).

    Shows that the company has confidence in their business model - but no point paying it if it can't be sustained.
