i suspect the "other expenses" were related to merchandise/stock.

some companies, ala QTK, account that in the "investments" column.

a shocking day, no disputing that but i think you could throw a dart at just about every blue chip listed and say that same thing. bhp for example closed down 7.5%.

given the gains that zyl has had in recent days/weeks it isnt suprising that it tumbled considerably on such a bleak day. however no denying that i am suprised it didnt hold above 10.

another positive here is that if zyl were desperate for cash they had an ideal opportunity recently to announce a funding plan when the sp rose to 12-15c. i dont think they are that desperate for money imho, a lot of receipts should be flowing in now.
