People wrongly believe number of shares matter to the movement of the share price.

This is just wrong.

Good investors wont care about the SP, just the quality of the company.

At some stage they may do it, atm I'm sure management is too busy to worry about such a pointless endeavour. Getting bigger investors on board by selling them a story is a much better week's work than organising a consolidation of share.
Spending a million on mine development is a much better million spent than on consolidating the share.
