2010 CSIO Report - Roy Lovel’s, Team Leader at CSIRO.

"Phosphorous mineralogy is dependant on the nature of the host rock. In magnetite deposits, phosphorous often occur as discrete phosphate minerals (such as apatite) that can be removed during the beneficiation and concentration of magnetite." Removal of Phosphorous in hematite/goethite Banded Iron Formation (BIF)not so lucky however the CSIRO’s low temperature “heat and leach” phosphorous removal process is a promising approach to addressing this problem.

Energio Report 3Nov11 - "hosts a horizontal sandstone layer some 20 to 30 meters thick which has embedded in it Magnetite mineralisation by sandstone action."

    SO IT's NOT AN ISSUE.

However, the same cannot be said for the removal of Phosphorous in hematite/goethite Banded Iron Formation (BIF)not so lucky however the CSIRO’s low temperature “heat and leach” phosphorous removal process is a promising approach to addressing this problem.
