Malmoe imho it's a fair question to ask the company. Obviously they won't disclose yes or no, but they should at least be able to tell you whether the option has ever been put across the board room table.

I asked the exact same question of a company a few years ago and they were able to state that no discussion had taken place and not expected to for another 18 months.

Sure enough SC never happened, but they did have a very large investor come in 12 months later, they might do a SC now to tidy up the registry but doubt it would hurt holders given the companies assets,cash and strength.
