It is not up to me to justify anybody salary, only mine.
SG may get $400,00 per year.
This may be the case, and I can see how it upsets you.
It does not however form any part of the knowledge I collect to make an informed decision on when to buy or sell a stock.

I find spending too much time worrying about CEO salaries or who got more or less money than me is counter productive to decision making. The stock market is a lot harder to pick than ever.
Concentrating on the prize has allowed me to keep my portfolio
(albeit slowly) increasing.

Is there a CEO in the world who takes a pay cut when things aren't going the way share holders want? They all have their snouts in the trough. The only way to beat them is to be wise about the stock trading.Buy and sell at the right time.

The tail can't wag the Dog. SG is not going to step down or give himself a pay cut because you are upset at the SP.
Only you can change your lot.
