I want to point out that, while contracting most stuff will cut into or possibly absorb profits, it’s only needed for a proof on concept. Once they get everything go they’re in a better position to get funding to take over elements themselves. It’s all about confidence. If they can show people it’s working and viable more people will be more at ease, for instance lenders, service providers allowing accounts/30+ day payment terms, etc. Allowing them to set themselves up, better, and increase profits.
