The consolidation decision is a big mistake. One of the reasons companies do it is to get away from the day traders who cause all sorts of price fluctuations, however they should never forget that the benefit of day traders is the liquidity they bring to the share.
Such a decision should only be considered when the company is mature and in full production. What is to stop the share price falling back to 10c after the consolidation? The market is a funny thing.
