Digesting todays news and reading peoples thoughts.

My question is does this cloud have a silver lining?

Is it possible that during negotiations for us to hold a more desirable percentage with one of our Majors or even just to get a deal signed off, that we have/will enter a Farm Out with no up front payment?

That scenario would force us to raise some funds for cash burn to see us through the next 12 months or so but if doing so allows us to quickly conclude a potentially stalled farm-out capaign?

There's a couple on this thread who have experience with O&G J.V's does this scenario even sound feasible? Actually I think it does sound feasible but is it likely?, or would this be a precedent?

Or do I need to take a more pessimistic view of this development?
