there is certainly a time and place for them, but if a company is sourcing new funding then to me it means they need $$$$ so why spend what you are trying to secure more of. It can at times backfire, as seen many times.

Maybe that was the strategy to set the price up for the best funding price, make sense. I think the 2 month suspension was more effective at keeping the price up during the last market meltdown!
