This has already been covered ad nauseum.
Forgettting for a moment the ratio, Investors in the US will purchase the stock on the NASDAQ via brokers. This is covered by National Securities/Bank of NY Mellon.
Where demand exceeds their holding, they will purchase ASX registed PRR stock to meet it.
There is no limit on what ratio of stock is listed on either the ASX or NASDAQ.
It is theorically possible that 90% of the stock winds up traded on the NASDAQ, not that I am saying this is likely or even desireable.
