One would imagine that the results of the well will be known before shareholders have to pay up the cash.

The directors know that if the well is a dud, they will probably not get the money as the share price will go 14c or below. So perhaps they are confident that either the gas zone already hit is commercial (and thus the price will stay up), or they really do have something that hasnt been released yet.

They are also unique in calling a SPP a reward for shareholders ......

I tend to be negative on thinking that the positive will happen, otherwise you are disappointed too often.... but when the evidence mounts such as the agressive buyer of yesterday, the odds of good news coming seem to be higher than normal.

(Ah yes broke all my trading rules and bought some after that codger cleaned up the sell queue yesterday. Totally out of my system. Talk about punting. Probably rue it too. Good thing, will teach me not to break my rules......)
