Chinese stocks are 'capped' and are not allowed to rise or fall more than 10% in a day. So yesterday's 8% fall could and probably should have been much worse.
800 stocks were closed early yesterday after falling 10%... It's a manipulated market, and the party wants to make it 'safe' but it's still one of the most volatile globally...
