    Agreed, you can never factor in the effect of the greed factor (Poseidon Nickel in the 1960's for example). It is important to get perspective of what the underlying and potential value of the shares are. If the potential is only ever to be 3 cents a share, you are going to be disappointed if you expect 10 cents.

    As you say this might be a rubber band scenario, however, in this case it may shoot up quickly (and fall again just as fast). I believe it is important to know underlying value - you don't want to exit too early but neither do you want to hang on for an unrealistic price and eventual get stuck with a share that continues to decrease and then decide if you throw good money after back with an endless cycles of capital raising.
