are you implying i am a cheer squad? I have been highly critical of management for a long time, even when they were paying excessive dividends.
- yes RSA is a mess, but they are still earning cash from it
- BA should only have ~6-7 years at the moment left if they mined it at nameplate capacity, but they still have 10 years left because they can't/don't operate it correctly
- losing money on the share market, oh well, that's life - buying shares is gambling. you lose some. you win some.
If TER was to generate the profits that the MD mentioned in the video, yes big IF. What are they going to do with the $50-$60m in cash each year other than use some of it to pay dividends? Keep in mind the board is made up of major shareholders and/or nominees of major shareholders.
The share price probably should be a little higher, not sure why it hasn't risen and fallen inline with the coal price as it historically has. The last 6 months or so the SP has decreased while the coal price has increased, it ultimately comes down (IMHO) the perception of the company and management which is pretty poor
Agree, in the current market, the share price wont get the heights you mentioned. If it got into the 40s i will take the opportunity to get out. It will linger in the 20's unless the coal price jumps dramatically, TER sell RSA operation for good money, or TER offer some amazingly good news someway or another (not going to happen any time soon)
