Thanks for the reference. I had seen references to PCM's in 1414's documents and wondered if it was to create a lower eutectic temperature. From your link it is, and will be a trade off between temperature and storage. That is where the trial will test that the storage & heating materials cope with the usage at the temperature they use - it hasn't been clear to me what material & hence temperature they are actually using for energy storage.

If they use a PCM will they have to change their name from 1414 degrees to 1079 degrees or similar?
